Are you passionate about supporting others and ready to make a difference in the mental health sector? Our client, a leading provider of mental health services in the UK, is looking for a highly motivated Onboarding Administrator to join their dynamic team!
This is a fantastic opportunity to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new clinicians who are eager to help individuals and families facing mental and emotional challenges.
What You'll Do:
As an Onboarding Administrator, you'll be the guiding force for new clinicians, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared to take on their roles. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating Onboarding: Ensure all documentation and compliance checks are completed accurately and on time.
- Building Relationships: Communicate regularly with new starters, fostering trust through a friendly and solutions-focused approach.
- Verifying Documents: Follow safer recruitment principles to check qualifications and references, escalating any concerns promptly.
- Tracking Progress: Proactively chase outstanding items to meet internal deadlines and KPIs.
- Maintaining Records: Keep onboarding records accurate and handle all information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Responding to Queries: Offer clear and compassionate guidance via email and phone.
- Collaborating: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers and a cohesive onboarding process.
- Enhancing Processes: Suggest and support improvements for a better onboarding experience.

Qualifications & Skills:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in an administrative role within a busy environment.
- Strong understanding of administrative processes and record-keeping.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to manage multiple cases.
- Awareness of confidentiality and data protection in handling sensitive information.
- Clear, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous onboarding or compliance administration experience.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and safer recruitment principles.
You'll be working full-time (35 hours per week) on a temporary contract with potential for extension based on workload. You will be required to be in the office 1 day a week.
