We are recruiting an experienced, pro-active and enthusiastic Accountant for a global business based in Sheffield, providing a service to enable businesses of all sizes to operate more efficiently and allowing them to drive growth. This is a newly created role due to growth/business demands! This would suit candidates with experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include:
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Posting journals.
- Accruals and prepayments.
- Analysis of trends and financial performance data.
- Monitoring and checking expenses.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person
- The successful candidate will be actively studying towards a professional qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Previous experience is essential.
- Good IT skills, including Excel are essential.
- You will be organised and able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
- You will be flexible with a positive attitude.
