Sewell Wallis are working with a fast growing, innovative company based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in their search for a Financial Accountant.

This is a unique Financial Accountant role with a commercial focus, which presents a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified candidate to work in a varied, progressive role.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support month end and year end closing activities.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of budgets and forecasts
  • Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations ready for review
  • Oversight of HMRC reporting
  • Provide support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team

What skills will you need?

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Experience in manufacturing/engineering sector (desirable)
  • Able to work on your own initiative, independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with finance and non finance managers
  • Excel (Vlookups, Pivots)
