We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a business based in Sheffield. This role would suit candidates who are driven and motivated and looking to progress in their career.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing supplier invoices, ensuring they are authorised for payment.
  • Dealing with queries.
  • Developing and maintaining relations with suppliers and internal members of staff.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Processing payment runs.
  • Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end processes.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • You will be proactive, able to work on your initiative, prioritise your work and meet deadlines.
  • IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Word are essential.
