Sharp Consultancy are working with a growing engineering business in Sheffield. This newly created role has been born out of recent success of the business achieving record years and sustaining a brilliant period of growth.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role offers a varied opportunity for someone who is looking to be hands on.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the FC in producing monthly management accounts
- Complete month end journals, prepayments and accruals
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT Returns – quarterly
- Stock control and reconciliations
- Cover for payroll where needed
- Work with auditors
- Manage and maintain supplier and customer relationships
- Ad-hoc duties around the office
