A respected multidisciplinary design practice is on the lookout for a skilled Architectural Technician to become part of its vibrant Sheffield-based team. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing precise technical drawings, construction details, and specifications
- Collaborating closely with architects, consultants, and engineers to resolve design challenges
- Applying a solid understanding of UK Building Regulations to ensure regulatory compliance
- Supporting the coordination of project information using BIM workflows
- Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and local authorities throughout the process
Requirements for the role of Architectural Technician:
- A qualification in Architectural Technology (degree, HNC or HND)
- Strong proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit
- A thorough understanding of current UK Building Regulations and construction standards
- Previous experience contributing to projects at RIBA Stages 3-5
- Strong interpersonal skills and a well-organised approach to managing workload
