Our client's office is based in Sheffield, where they are looking for a Project Architect to join their expanding team. They are looking for someone to focus on student accommodation projects. They are offering a competitive starting salary of up to £45,000 and offer further benefits such as hybrid working, training / support, holiday and a pension scheme.

Our client is seeking an ambitious Project Architect to join their established award-winning Architectural practice based in Sheffield. The successful Project Architect will collaborate with a team on a variety of projects within the Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Student Accommodation and Retail sectors. Our clients current projects are more focuses in the Student Accommodation sector and contract values are between £5m - £20m. The successful Project Architect will be working across all RIBA Stages as our client require someone who is able to run projects.

Project Architect Job Overview

  • Occasional site visits
  • Develop designs into working drawings
  • Coordinate tender and construction design packages
  • Submission of planning / building regs
  • Work on projects throughout all RIBA stages
  • Help with and coordinate the design and production of comprehensive design information
  • Prepare and produce plans and documents for statutory approvals
  • Participate in team meetings

Project Architect Job Requirements

  • Based within a commutable distance of Sheffield
  • ARB Qualified Architect
  • Good knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD
  • Motivated individual
  • Ability to work well as part of a design / technical team
  • Good design skills
  • Experience across all RIBA Stages, able to run projects
