Our client, a small to medium sized engineering / manufacturing business, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed sales co-ordinator/ production controller. This is a new role due to on-going growth.
The main purpose of this role is to be the main point of contact for customers who are chasing their orders to improve communication and general flow of information between the customers and the various points of the business, from sales, production to despatch.
Duties include:
- Provide all customers with a point of contact for progress on all their orders
- Maintain an efficient production plan ensuring that jobs are prioritised in line with customers expectations and the plan is communicated to the shop floor
- Attend morning meetings to ensure that changes to plan are communicated accordingly to all parties
- Review and maintain the list of overdue jobs in WIP and manage customer expectations for late and behind schedule jobs
The ideal sales co-ordinator will have the following skills / experience:
- Excellent level of English ( Written and Spoken )
- Previous experience of working within a manufacturing organisation
- Previous administration experience
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft) and the ability to learn the business ERP system
- Good telephone manner
- Can-do attitude
- Team player
This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work....
07:45 to16:15 Monday to Thursday
7am - 1pm on a Friday.
In return you can expect a salary of 28k - 30k, early Friday finish and a whole host of other benefits.
