About Us: New opportunities available for our client in Sheffield, S20 for experienced or semi experienced Auto Electrician on a temp to perm basis.

Role Overview: As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the wiring and maintenance or new and repaired HGV vehicles. Your work will ensure that our customers' vehicles are safe, efficient, and running smoothly. This role requires a high level of expertise in automotive electrical systems and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, and systems in vehicles.
Install and maintain electrical systems, including alarms, air conditioning, lighting, and batteries.
Test and inspect electrical components to ensure proper function.
Work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in automotive electrical systems.
Adhere to safety guidelines and company protocols.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive electrical systems.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working in a similar role
Ability to perform installation of aftermarket electrical accessories.
Prior experience in a busy automotive workshop would be an advantage.

Friday 7.30am-3pm
Overtime is available before the shift start and on a Saturday!
