Metalis are currently working alongside a specialist manufacturer in Sheffield who are on the lookout for a skilled Production Operative to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating workshop machinery including cutting and pressing machines
- Working with a variety of materials including aluminium sheet, wood, XPS insulation and rockwool to name a few
- General labouring and manual handling
- Operating an FLT (Training provided)
- Using hand and power tools
Initially starting on a day shift, then moving onto nights once training has been completed.
- 12.86ph (Days) + 124.80 per week (Nights allowance)
- Monday - Friday (no weekend work)
- 6am - 3pm (Monday - Thursday) 6am - 1pm (Friday)
- 12 Weeks Temporary - Permanent Opportunity
- Previous experience working within engineering or manufacturing
- Manual handling experience
- Operated workshop machinery (ideal)
