Hays are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational management across two premises in Sheffield. This plays a key role in ensuring the environment is safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times.This would suit an experienced Manager who has worked across multiple sites, ideally within the leisure industry. (Please note an enhanced DBS is required before employment commences)Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the upkeep and maintenance of the leisure facilities, buildings and grounds.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance, ensuring regulations are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance work.
  • Supervise cleaning, site security, and general operational tasks.
  • Manage contractors and liaise with external providers for large-scale projects.
  • Monitor facilities, ensuring they remain in excellent condition.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure swift resolution of site-related issues.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in site management, facilities management, or caretaking.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
