Join a local authority based in Sheffield as a Coordinator, where you will support Team Leaders across various teams including Responsive Repairs, Planned, HM&E, and Voids within the Repairs and Maintenance Service. This role is crucial in aligning resources to operational activities, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement to deliver a customer-focused service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the Team Leaders in delivering the operational priorities of their service/business area.
  • Ensure the right resource is in the right location at the right time through effective use of the organisation's scheduling and diary management system.
  • Contribute to delivering high performance and continuous improvement within the service/business area.
  • Work within a busy, dynamic office environment, liaising with and advising operatives, Team Leaders, customers, and other key contacts both internal and external.
  • Manage information which may include appointing repairs, follow-on appointments, and other arrangements to suit the customer/client in question.
  • Comfortably switch tasks regularly throughout the day, reacting to changes and prioritising work to meet the business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a coordination role within a similar environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using scheduling and diary management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Strong prioritisation skills to meet business needs.
