This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in medical law and litigation, offering the chance to develop within a supportive and dynamic legal team. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting fee earners with clinical negligence case files
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Managing case files, including document collation, bundling, and file management
- Liaising with clients, medical experts, and third parties
- Assisting with case preparation for court hearings and settlement meetings
- Accurately inputting and updating case details using the firm's case management system
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role, preferably within clinical negligence or personal injury
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience using case management software - prior experience with Partners for Windows is highly desirable
- A proactive and professional approach to supporting fee earners
