Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, focusing on manufacturing positions. We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join our clients based in Sheffield on a permanent basis.Â
Role details:Working hours: Monday – Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-12pm
Hourly Rate: ÂŁ12.21
Key Responsibilities:
- Empty waste collecting equipment and remove waste to storage.
- Empty of waste from plant items (extractors etc).
- Housekeeping across the site inside and out.
- Organisation/upkeep of the waste/raw materials storage areas.
- Liaise with waste collection contractors.
- Load waste from storage to collection transport for disposal.
- Maintain accurate records of waste levels and disposal activities.
- Manage waste segregation inside and out.
- Organise unusual and “special” waste collections by contractors.
- Carry out “uplift” activities (painting, floor marking etc).
- Assist in movement of plant and office equipment.
- Installing/removing/relocating various signs and furniture.
- Providing assistance to the Operations team as required.
Requirements:
- FLT License
- Driving License
- Manual handling experience
