Elevation Recruitment are thrilled to be working with an established and rapidly expanding electrical cable manufacturer, known for exceptional quality, reliable delivery, and strong relationships with the trade. We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially sharp Business Development Manager to join their team and help them build even stronger partnerships with electrical wholesalers and contractors.
The RoleYou’ll be the driving force behind growing their presence in the South Yorkshire region. This is a field-based, relationship-led role where you will:
- Identify and win new business with independent and national electrical wholesalers
- Develop long-term partnerships with key electrical contractors
- Promote the product range, value proposition, and service excellence
- Work closely with the internal sales and product teams to ensure top-tier customer support
- Attend trade events and site visits to keep your finger on the pulse of the industry
We are looking for a tenacious and strategic sales professional who understands the electrical industry and knows how to build real value for customers. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Proven B2B sales experience in the electrical sector
- Strong network within wholesalers and contractors
- A self-motivated and results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience using Hubspot or similar CRM systemsÂ
- A clean driving license and willingness to travel regionally
