Bid Manager – Construction
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £45,000 Basic + Company Car + Uncapped Bonus (circa £25k)
Are you a proactive and commercially savvy Bid Manager looking to take the lead on exciting commercial fit-out projects? We're looking for a driven individual to join a thriving construction business delivering high-quality work across a £5 million annual framework agreement.
About the Role:
You’ll play a central role in securing work on commercial fit-out projects ranging from £50k to £1 million. Working closely with our estimators and senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing and nurturing key client accounts
- Writing and submitting compelling, high-quality bids
- Liaising with estimators to ensure accurate and competitive costings
- Presenting and delivering bid submissions directly to clients
- Building strong client relationships and expanding our network through meetings and events
What We’re Looking For:
We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with confidence, and brings a strategic mindset to every bid. You should have:
- Proven experience in a Bid Manager or similar role in construction
- A strong understanding of commercial fit-outs or general contracting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
