Technical Support Agent - 30,000 per year - Sheffield - Office-Based
Our client, a leading provider of warranty and aftersales products to the motor trade, is seeking a Technical Support Agent to join their team. This role is ideal for a Level 3-qualified Vehicle Technician with at least three years of experience, looking for a new challenge away from the tools while still leveraging their technical expertise.
The Role:
Handling complex warranty and claims assessments, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Providing technical guidance to non-technical colleagues and customers
Liaising with repairers to validate faults, repair methods, and labour costs
Supporting the claims team with technical insights to streamline processes
Reviewing warranty terms and assisting in claim approvals
Communicating effectively with internal teams and external clients
The Ideal Candidate:
Level 3-qualified Vehicle Technician with at least three years of experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical staff
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident in using MS Office tools and company databases
