Adept Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing manufacturing business in Sheffield for a Laser CNC Operative. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, and will be working a rotating pattern of early and late shifts, Monday to Friday.
Salary:
16.50 - 17.00 per hour
Late shifts: Extra 1/hr on basic
Working Hours:
2-shift rotation (40 hours per week)
6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Sheffield
Key Responsibilities:
Check materials for size, thickness, and grade before cutting; report any quality concerns to the Team Leader
Ensure components cut on the machine meet required quality standards
Produce customer orders
Complete job cards accurately, noting any special instructions
Follow all machine and personal safety procedures
Communicate relevant information to the next shift
Box, bag, and palletise parts for dispatch
Requirements:
Forklift truck licence for loading/unloading metal sheets
- Experienced using laser operated machines
Strong understanding of quality procedures and customer specifications
Ability to work effectively using own initiative
