Our client, a world-leading FMCG manufacturer is looking to appoint a manual machinist and be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to precision and quality!

About the Role:

As a Manual CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality components that meet precise engineering specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and the ability to work to high tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
  • Operate manual CNC machines with precision.
  • Ensure components meet rigorous quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in engineering component machining principles.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Good mathematical skills are essential.
  • Experience with surface grinding and turning is beneficial.
  • CNC experience is ideal; specific CNC language training will be provided.
  • A flexible approach to work is essential.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday - 35 per week
