Manual Machinist

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for a Manual Machinist for a permanent position-based with our client in Sheffield.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)

Rate of pay is 16.12 per hour.

This will be working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be able to read engineering drawings, Setting and Operating from scratch, selecting tooling and operating the Lathe/Milling Machine.

You will be involved in manufacturing new parts and repairing existing parts on manual operated lathes/milling machines.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Read engineering drawings
• Selecting tooling and operating the Lathe/Milling Machine
• They will be involved in producing batch work and one-offs
• Selecting the cutting tools for machining operations
• Mounting and dismounting workpieces on/from lathe, milling machine
• Performing roughing and finishing operations
• Checking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawings
