Linsco are currently recruiting for a Site Foreman in Rotherham.

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site activities related to the extension of a warehouse. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Coordination:

  • On-Site Leadership: Lead and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring all work is completed according to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Team Management: Directly manage site personnel, including subcontractors and labourers, providing clear instructions and support.
  • Daily Briefings: Conduct daily briefings to outline tasks, safety measures, and project updates.

Quality Control:

  • Work Inspections: Regularly inspect ongoing work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the construction process promptly.

Health and Safety:

  • Safety Enforcement: Enforce health and safety regulations on site, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety protocols.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures to mitigate potential hazards.

Project Coordination:

  • Material Management: Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials, ensuring the right materials are available as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
