Design & Build Commercial Office Interiors

Working for a Design + Build commercial fit-out contractor.

Currently turnover is 10m with huge ambitions to grow over the next few years. They work across commercial, offices, education and local authority sectors.

The Role

Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement

Work within established commercial and operations team in preparation of competitive tender offers

Undertake site visits to establish and verify asset information provided as part of the tender documentation

Undertake a full analysis of tender returns received during the tender process

Attend start-up pre-price and price meetings

Project locations across the UK

A sound knowledge and understanding of JCT/D&B contracts, and demonstrable experience of running interior fit out works contracts is preferable

Typically, the role will involve the management of multiple contracts concurrently, so the ability to manage time efficiently is critical

Previous experience of working on constructions contracts is useful, though not essential

Ability to review contracts, contract ammendments, and identify risks to the business is useful

methodical and well organised approach to financial management of the project (s)

Internal handover with sales and operation

Procurement of subcontract packages - LPM / Labour only / materials supply
