The Opportunity: Health & Safety Coordinator

You will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and healthy working environment, championing proper ergonomics, promoting the diligent use of safety equipment, and upholding the highest hygiene practices.

What You'll Bring:

  • We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable professional who can bring the following experience and expertise:
  • Legislative Acumen: Continuously monitor, evaluate, and review existing, new, and upcoming Health & Safety legislation to ensure proactive compliance.
  • System Implementation: Develop and implement robust systems and procedures that guarantee legal compliance across all operations.
  • Training & Development: Ensure all personnel receive statutory training and are consistently kept up-to-date with the latest H&S protocols and best practices.
  • Strategic Planning: Produce and publish comprehensive Health & Safety action plans, complete with clear timescales for implementation and review.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate accurate and insightful progress reports for management meetings, providing critical data for informed decision-making.
  • Policy Development: Take ownership of reviewing and developing all aspects of the Health & Safety policy, driving its effective implementation throughout the organization.
  • Equipment Compliance: Rigorously ensure that all equipment on site adheres to the highest Health & Safety regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Actively promote environmentally friendly practices and sustainability initiatives within the workplace, contributing to a greener future. This includes completing mandatory ESH-related training and certifications.
