Would be great if someone has done comms and engagement
Need someone who has done Project management before and someone to come in to be able to take control of the plan and hit the ground running.
Just use MS packages so would need be IT literate in this
Provide project management to the Council to help directorates deliver initiatives, solutions, and
improvements that benefit the organisation and city.
Follow Council methodologies (based on industry best practice), to support the successful
delivery of projects against time, cost and quality constraints and effective management of
project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate.
Manage the dependencies and interfaces between projects to ensure their successful delivery in
line with strategic objectives.
Define programme governance arrangements and ensure effective quality assurance and the
overall integrity of projects.
Present and deliver regular progress updates to governance boards.
Deputise for the Programme Manager as required and contribute strategically to the direction,
leadership, development and management of the Portfolio.
Effectively monitoring and managing projects risks and issues, escalating where necessary.
Responsible for leading organisation-wide projects to support the delivery of the organisational
strategy, and the continued improvement ofthe Council’s operations.
Lead project teams comprising of technical and non-technical members to achieve project
outcomes and be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various
projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the quality and regulatory
standards.
Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders enable the
successful delivery of projects, including engaging in technical discussions with suppliers to
find solutions and collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams, and
stakeholders, to help drive project success
