Are you an Early Career Teacher ready to make your mark in secondary education? GSL Education is looking for passionate and driven Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work in secondary schools across Sheffield. As an ECT, you will bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the classroom while continuing to build on your training. You’ll work alongside experienced educators to deliver engaging, purposeful lessons that motivate students to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and teach inspiring lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to promote high-quality teaching and learning.

Uphold strong behaviour and classroom management standards.

Participate in CPD opportunities to support your professional growth.
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

PGCE with a subject specialism in secondary education.

Successful completion of at least two teacher training placements (references required).

Strong classroom management skills and flexibility.

A genuine commitment to student progress and wellbeing.

Willingness to engage with wider school life and learning initiatives.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
