The Role

We are seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join the school’s dedicated early years team. You will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across the EYFS curriculum, ensuring all areas of learning are covered through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Create a stimulating, safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports curiosity, independence and a love of learning.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to plan, assess and track progress against Early Learning Goals.
  • Build strong relationships with children and families, promoting positive communication and involvement in the learning journey.
  • Contribute to the wider school ethos of high expectations, ambition and resilience for all pupils.

Person Specification

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience teaching in EYFS.
  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the developmental needs of young children.
  • Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm and a nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
  • Is able to use assessment effectively to support and extend children’s progress.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and builds positive partnerships with parents and carers.
  • Shares the school’s values of ambition, resilience and success for all learners.
