Belmont Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and committedEducational Support Workerto join the team atSheaf Training Centre in Sheffield, supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a temporary contract for 2-3 months with a view to extend.

Hours:8:30am to 4:30pm
Duties will include:

Providing one-to-one and small group learning support for learners with SEND

Assisting in the delivery of tailored educational activities and resources

Supporting learners with personal care needs where required

Encouraging independence, confidence, and social interaction

Helping manage classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive way

Liaising with teaching staff, therapists, and parents to support learner progress

Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment at all times
Requirements:
- Previous SEN Teaching/Support experience
- Able to support High Needs learners overcome barriers to learning with a focus on tracking learner progress towards Preparation for Adulthood, Math's and English.
- Enhanced DBS
