We are seeking an Ecologist to join a prestigious engineering and environmental design consultancy in Sheffield.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £27,000 to £35,000, along with a benefits scheme including 25 days of holiday and wellbeing support.
Candidates should have experience in the biodiversity net gain process and protected species surveys across various sites.

Ecologist

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for an Ecologist to join a renowned engineering and environmental design consultancy in Sheffield!

The role involves;

Undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals on a variety of sites across the UK.
Completing biodiversity net gain metrics.
Undertaking protected species surveys on a variety of sites across the UK.

Requirements;

Experience of the whole biodiversity net gain process.
Protected Species Survey experience across a variety of sites and species.
Report writing for Ecological Consultancy.
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
