Junior Electrical Design Engineer - Sheffield - £35,000 to £45,000

This is a hands-on, development-focused role ideal for someone with a solid foundation in electrical design who wants to deepen their experience across real-world projects. As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the design and delivery of systems used in cutting-edge applications across energy and technology sectors.

You won't be stuck doing repetitive tasks - we're looking for someone who wants to take ownership, ask questions, and grow. You'll be involved in circuit design, layout, testing, and documentation, with support every step of the way.

What you'll be doing:

Assisting in the design of electrical and electronic circuits for new and existing products
Creating and reviewing schematics, layouts, and technical documentation
Supporting testing, validation, and compliance processes
Collaborating with mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure robust, integrated solutions
Taking part in continuous improvement and learning from experienced engineers

What we're looking for:

A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
A passion for engineering and a willingness to get hands-on
Familiarity with CAD tools (such as Altium or similar) is a plus
A proactive attitude, keen to learn and contribute
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
