We are looking for an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide breakdown and maintenance support across a range of machinery, with a strong focus on electrical systems. The role involves working shifts and ensuring maximum uptime through proactive and reactive maintenance.

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding on injection moulding machinery and associated equipment.
- Perform planned, reactive, and predictive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
- Diagnose electrical faults systematically and implement effective solutions, reporting via a CMMS system.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure all equipment is handed back in a safe condition.
- Train operators on equipment setup and changeovers, maintaining accurate training records.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Profile
The Successful Candidate
- Apprentice-trained with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering (HNC/HND desirable).
- Strong ability to read electrical drawings and logically fault-find.
- Proven experience conducting electrical maintenance on injection moulding machinery and other automated systems.
- Skilled in working with inverters, servo/DC drives, control panels, and circuits from 415V to 24VDC.
- Understanding of pneumatics and mechanical systems is advantageous.
- A proactive team player with excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
- Flexible, resilient, and confident, with a commitment to health and safety standards.
