Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wirer to join our clients manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical panels in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Assemble electrical panels according to technical drawings and specifications
Wire components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT) components
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of assembled panels to ensure functionality
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve assembly or wiring issues
Document work progress and complete relevant quality assurance checks

Requirements
Proven experience with electrical assembly and wiring in an industrial setting
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for electrical work
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT) is highly desirable

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical schematics and diagrams
Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
Mechanical knowledge related to component installation and assembly processes
Electrical experience with a focus on panel wiring or similar roles is essential
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
