Job Ad: Experienced Electrician
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (with plenty of overtime available)
Salary: Above JRB industry standard
We are a reliable and respected company with a diverse client list, looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team of 8. The ideal candidate will have the 18th Edition qualification, preferably with testing and inspection experience, and must be able to hit the ground running. Experience with Schneider equipment and knowledge of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Schneider Equipment: You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Schneider equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Build and Maintain Data Centres: You will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of data centres, focusing on the implementation and upkeep of ATS and UPS systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply and system reliability.
- Collaborate in a Supportive Team Environment: You will work closely with a team of 8, contributing to a flat-structured, supportive, and collaborative work environment where everyone helps each other.
- Travel Requirements: The role may require travel, with potential stays away from home for up to 3 months at a time. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
Requirements:
- 18th Edition Qualification: You must have the 18th Edition qualification to be considered for this role.
- Testing and Inspection Experience: Preferably, you will have experience in testing and inspection to ensure all electrical systems meet safety and performance standards.
- Experience with Schneider Equipment: Familiarity with Schneider equipment is essential for this role.
- Knowledge of ATS and UPS Systems: You should have experience with Automatic Transfer Switch and Uninterruptible Power Supply systems.
- Willingness to Travel: The role requires flexibility and the ability to travel and stay away from home when necessary.
