Futures are partnering with a leading manufacturer  in their search for a Graduate Project Engineer to support the delivery of technically complex engineering projects. This role is designed for an engineering graduate who wants early responsibility, structured development and exposure to real-world engineering challenges within a fast-moving project environment.

As a Graduate Project Engineer will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on involvement across design, validation, manufacturing and customer interaction, while developing the core skills required for a long-term career in project engineering.

Graduate Project Engineer – Role & Responsibilities -

  • Support the delivery of engineering projects from customer requirements through to implementation
  • Assist in translating customer needs into clear technical specifications
  • Contribute to planning and tracking project timelines, cost and quality targets
  • Coordinate with design, validation and manufacturing teams
  • Support DFMEA activities and structured product development processes
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers under guidance from senior engineers
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities

Graduate Project Engineer – Skills & Experience

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of core engineering principles
  • Interest in project engineering, manufacturing and product development
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
