Futures are partnering with a leading manufacturer  in their search for a Graduate Project Engineer to support the delivery of technically complex engineering projects. This role is designed for an engineering graduate who wants early responsibility, structured development and exposure to real-world engineering challenges within a fast-moving project environment.
As a Graduate Project Engineer will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on involvement across design, validation, manufacturing and customer interaction, while developing the core skills required for a long-term career in project engineering.
Graduate Project Engineer – Role & Responsibilities -
- Support the delivery of engineering projects from customer requirements through to implementation
- Assist in translating customer needs into clear technical specifications
- Contribute to planning and tracking project timelines, cost and quality targets
- Coordinate with design, validation and manufacturing teams
- Support DFMEA activities and structured product development processes
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers under guidance from senior engineers
- Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
Graduate Project Engineer – Skills & Experience
- Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of core engineering principles
- Interest in project engineering, manufacturing and product development
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop
