Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Sheffield (Hybrid Working)

Reports To: CEO/Board of Directors

Salary: £90,000 - £100,000

A Day In The Life As the CFO:

• Lead the development and execution of the financial strategy, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive business growth and ensure financial success. Your guidance will shape the long-term direction of the business as it expands.
• Oversee all aspects of financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support key decision-making processes and ensure financial goals are met.
• Play a central role in leading the financial transformation efforts to ensure the business is ready for scaling. Streamline operations and drive efficiency across all financial functions to support growth.
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring that the business runs smoothly and that financial processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team. Inspire and guide them to reach their full potential while maintaining alignment with the business’s strategic financial goals.
• Work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders, providing them with financial insights and reports that support business decisions and maintain financial stability.

The Dream Candidate - Is this you? 

• You have a strong background in senior finance roles as a CFO, Finance Director, or Group FC within high-growth commercial / financial services business.  
• Experience in scaling businesses and leading financial teams through transformation and high growth. 
• You can think strategically, with a track record of making high-level financial decisions that drive growth, streamline operations, and support business objectives.
• A proven leader, skilled in building and leading high-performing teams while effectively collaborating with senior stakeholders and driving change across the business.
• While you will lead the strategic direction, you are comfortable being hands-on with day-to-day financial management and operations while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
