They are on a pathway of growth, and this role will play an integral part of the finance function over the next phase of the company's journey. The role reports directly into the Group CFO, showing the seniority of the position - and will interact and be exposed to the several key leaders and departments. We are looking for someone who can drive forward continuous improvements - whilst developing, implementing and reviewing the Treasury strategy and operational performance moving forward.This is a wide and varied role including accounting, reporting and control, cash flow management, banking and investor relationships, project management and improvement, risk management and leading a strong team.
Your Duties as Head of Group Treasury will include:
- Development, implementation and monitoring of Treasury strategy and operational policies;
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
- Daily management of the Group cash position, ensuring adequate liquidity for working capital needs, manage inter-company cash, identification of funding needs
- Managing daily funding and the Group’s ABL facility
- Ensuring compliance with the ABL facility agreement (MFA)
- Monthly reconciliation of cash balances
- Cash flow forecasting – short term and longer term. Development of the cash flow forecasting procedures and processes to improve the quality and reliability
- Development of treasury reporting – for example, development of weekly reporting dashboards focused on cash performance, accuracy of forecasting etc…
- Review and management of treasury risk
- Support long term financing activities
- Liaising with company investors, bankers, directors and senior managers
- Driving changes within the Treasury team to ensure more efficient processes and procedures
We are looking for someone who has strong experience within Treasury - ideally someone who has worked within a larger organisation, or at least within a business that is fast paced and an emphasis on cashflow forecasting. Experience with invoice discounting/asset-based lending would be advantageous. Moreover, we are looking for a personable leader, someone who can develop both individuals and a function - all whilst communicating and managing Senior Managers and External Stakeholders.If this sounds like you - or a colleague, employee or boss you have worked with, then I want to hear from you.
