Ambition are excited to be supporting one of our top global law firm clients, with their recruitment for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner on a 12mth FTC. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic commercial finance team, providing support to the wider business with cost management, financial reporting and strategic planning.

With 2 direct reports the main responsibilities will include;

  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor, providing valuable commercial insights and challenging cost plans.
  • Project Tracking: Oversee project tracking, KPIs, and Capex, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Financial Analysis: Deliver high-quality commentary and analysis to senior stakeholders, highlighting progress and potential challenges.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and reforecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting: Conduct ad-hoc analysis and modelling on various cost-related issues across the firm.
Skills and Experience:
  • Qualifications: ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience in project tracking and Capex modelling.
  • Proactive Approach: A self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to deliver results and drive efficiency enhancements.
