Valid forklift licence
Manual handling training or experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse, factory or logistics environment
A good understanding of health and safety practices
A proactive and reliable team player
Flexible attitude towards shifts and overtime when needed

The finer elements of the role include:

Operate forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck) safely and effectively
Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas
Transport materials to designated areas on site
Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults
Support warehouse and production teams with manual handling when required
Maintain accurate records of goods moved using paperwork or digital systems
Ensure stock is stored and rotated correctly
