Description
- Design and develop sweats & jersey collections
- Research and predict fashion trends
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure design feasibility
- Present design concepts to stakeholders
- Participate in fittings and adjustments
- Manage a team of junior designers
- Liaise with suppliers and fabric manufacturers
- Uphold the company's sustainability values in all designs
- Travel to Asia, Europe and the US.
Profile
A successful 'Senior Designer - Sweats & Jersey' should have:
- A degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 4 years minimum experience in jersey design
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong sketching skills
- A thorough understanding of fabric types and their uses
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
- Ideally experience working with a mid-premium level brand
