Responsibilities: -路Repair and service of (high speed) multistage progression tools for production (10-60 tonne).路Preventative maintenance on tooling, all aspects of machining and bench fitting, i.e., grinding, turning milling etc.路Utilisation of precision/optical measuring equipment to maintain tooling to produce parts to drawing tolerance.路Testing tooling prior to release.路Attending power press to identify or overcome problem whilst tooling is in a running condition, report to those above to identify problem or requirements for spares /replacements or backup.路To assess the life of a press tool and to order any new parts or make new parts that need replacing.路Replace pilots, probe pins, springs, designing and making special fixtures to fit to tools.路Always observe Health and Safety Regulation.Skills & Abilities: -路Self-Motivated.路Attention to Detail.路Good coordination.路Good communication and interpersonal skills.路Ability to work independently or as part of a team.路Problem Solving Skills.Requirements: -路Experience of precision / toolroom machinery (conventional lathes, millers, surface and cylindrical grinders).路Experience in Bench fitting.路The ability to read engineering drawing.Working Days & Hours: (39 hours).Monday - Thursday 06:15 to 16:30.聽Benefits: Company Pension Scheme, Healthcare Scheme, full training given, pathways for progression.聽
