Our client is on the lookout for dedicated and skilled School Business Managers to join a secondary school in South Yorkshire on a full-time, temporary basis. These are vital leadership roles that help ensure the smooth running of school operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing school finances, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Managing HR functions and the recruitment process
- Leading facilities and premises management
- Ensuring adherence to health & safety regulations, safeguarding protocols, and GDPR compliance
- Collaborating with local authorities, external contractors, and senior leadership teams
- Supporting both the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the school
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as School Business Manager, Bursar, or equivalent in an educational setting
- Strong financial acumen and administrative expertise
- Familiarity with school management systems like SIMS, FMS, Arbor, or similar
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to quickly adapt and thrive in new environments
- Full-time, ASAP start until approximately 19th December 2025
- Monday to Friday, term-time working hours 08.00-16.00
