Mellors Care are excitedto be supporting on the recruitment of a Deputy Manager for a thriving Residential care home in Dinnington.
This is a 28 hour per week part time position, spread over 3 working days.
The home is a 48-bedded residential home, providing respite care, dementia care and end-of-life care. The role will invlove supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service and ensuring a high standard of care is provided at all times.
Other duties will include:
- Care plan writing and auditing
- Compliance audits
- Leadership of the care team
- Dealing with enquiries and showing new clients and families around the home
- Following CQC policies and procedures
- Medication audits
- Liaising with external healthcare professionals
The succesful candidate will have expereince in a senior or leadership position within a care home or similar setting and will have a good understanding of elderly care.
