About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students across secondary schools in Sheffield. This is a flexible role, available on a full-time or part-time basis, ideal for someone passionate about helping young people succeed. Working alongside teachers, you will help create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support to teachers and students, ensuring every learner can access the curriculum.

Offer one-to-one or small group support for students who may need additional help.

Prepare classroom materials and assist in maintaining an organised learning space.

Promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout lessons and school activities.

Support students with a range of abilities and needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About You:
To thrive as a Teaching Assistant, you will need to be:

Patient, caring, and passionate about supporting young people’s learning and development.

Able to build strong, positive relationships with students and staff.

Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to changing classroom needs.

Experienced in working with SEND students (preferred but not essential).

A good communicator with strong organisational skills.
