Graduate IT Support Technician

The role:
We are looking for a resolute IT Support person to join our team to work in partnership with our IT partners and help us achieve our business goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality IT support and service to our group and clients, ensuring needs are promptly and effectively and met.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
Work in partnership and collaboratively with our IT partners
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
Monitor and manage service requests, ensuring timely resolution and communication with clients.
Collaborate with SMH stakeholders and clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Document and maintain accurate records of service requests, resolutions, and client interactions.
Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices to provide informed support.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes.
Manage IT hardware refresh programs
Requirements:
Microsoft qualifications would be beneficial.
Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks is a plus.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Experience with Sage 50 and IRIS accounts is desirable.

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, IT partners and clients.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to empathise with colleagues and clients and understand their needs and concerns.
Strong organisational skills to manage service requests and prioritise tasks efficiently.
Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they become problems.
Strong diligence to ensure accurate documentation and follow-up on service requests.
Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide flexible solutions.
