CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly respected and well-known law firm headquartered in Sheffield. As part of the firm's ongoing investment in technology and people development, an exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Legal IT Trainer to support the continuous improvement of digital skills across the firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tech-savvy trainer with a passion for helping others to develop their IT confidence and capability - all within a modern, professional, and collaborative environment.

The Role

You'll play a key part in delivering IT training to legal and support staff across the firm. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering engaging training sessions (both in-person and remotely)
  • Supporting new joiners with onboarding and systems training
  • Creating user guides, learning materials and video tutorials
  • Assisting staff with one-to-one coaching and desk-side support when needed
  • Helping to embed best practices in the use of legal software systems, Microsoft Office, and firm-specific applications
  • Gathering feedback and continuously improving training content
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in an IT training, learning & development, or application support role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient approach to training
  • Ability to create engaging and accessible learning content
  • Experience of delivering group sessions and one-to-one coaching

Desirable but not essential:

  • Exposure to Proclaim case management software
  • Experience working in a professional services environment (e.g. legal, accountancy, consulting)
