Job Role: Engineering Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Days regular going onto a 3 shift pattern
Salary: 13.20ph
Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious engineering company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire an Engineering Assistant to join their growing team.
Job Duties:
- Moving materials
- FLT
- Overhead crane
- General maintenance in the workshop
- Some heavy lifting required
- Assisting operators with the cutting and management of customer orders
- Cleaning and marking of parts
- Loading and Unloading parts
Person Specification:
- Experience with FLT or Overhead Crane
- Experience working in steel or engineering environment
- Open to training and development opportunities
Salary & Shift:
- 13.20ph to start on days
- Days for the first 12 weeks, then shift pattern
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent position
