The Role:
As a Trainee Mortgage Administrator, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and effective administrative support to the mortgage advisory team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of mortgage applications, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional service to clients. This role offers full training and the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the mortgage application process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to mortgage advisors.
- Processing new mortgage applications and supporting documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and clients to progress mortgage applications.
- Maintaining and updating client files and databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and other documentation as required.
- Assisting with the preparation of mortgage illustrations and suitability reports.
- Handling telephone enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Supporting the team with general administrative tasks as required.
- Actively participating in training and development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills as a future Mortgage Administrator.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and 1 a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
