Position: Town planning consultant
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid working available)
We are currently recruiting for an Town Planner / Senior Planner to join a well-established team based in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for a planning professional to develop their skills and experience within a consultancy environment, working alongside a team of experienced planners.

About the role:
The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, including supporting the local plan process and preparing planning applications for residential developments. You'll gain exposure to a variety of challenging sites, from brownfield to green belt land.
Key responsibilities:
路Advising clients on land and building development potential
路Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and appeals
路Providing policy advice and conducting research
路Collaborating with senior team members, clients, and other consultants
What we're looking for:
路Previous experience in a planning role (local government, consultancy, or development experience is ideal)
路A relevant planning qualification
路RTPI membership (or working towards it)
路Strong written and verbal communication skills
路A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to manage your workload effectively
