Real Estate Solicitor – Sheffield

A well-regarded national law firm, headquartered in Sheffield, is looking to appoint a Real Estate Solicitor (0–5 PQE) into its growing Commercial Property team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that blends national scale with strong local connections, offering a broad range of property work and genuine scope for development.

The opportunity:

  • Join a collaborative and supportive Real Estate team that advises a diverse client base including developers, investors, banks and corporate occupiers
  • Work on a varied caseload spanning acquisitions and disposals, landlord & tenant, property finance, development and asset management
  • Build long-term relationships with clients across sectors such as energy, healthcare, retail and education
  • Be part of a team with a strong reputation for its culture, flexibility and support, with opportunities for both progression and cross-office work

The role:

  • Handle commercial property transactions from end-to-end, with appropriate supervision and increasing autonomy
  • Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on high-value and complex matters
  • Support business development activity, both internally and externally
  • Gain exposure to cross-disciplinary matters by working alongside colleagues in construction, planning, banking and corporate
  • Benefit from a strong learning environment, with structured development and mentoring

What the firm is looking for:

  • A qualified solicitor or trainee qualifying in 2025, with up to 5 years’ experience in commercial property
  • Strong technical skills and a genuine interest in real estate law
  • Excellent communication and client-handling ability
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively across offices and disciplines
  • Ambition, curiosity and a willingness to get involved in the wider growth of the team
