Join our client in providing dynamic and essential services to the community. They are currently seeking a Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their Legal and Governance team. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead a team and make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable adults in Sheffield.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead and manage a diverse team of Lawyers, Professional Officers, and Assistant Professional Officers.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of legal work within the Adult Social Care sector.
  • Handle the allocation, supervision, and delivery of complex, high-profile legal matters.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency within the team.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to meet service and business goals.
  • Provide expert advocacy and representation at court, committees, boards, and panels.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Leadership Team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective legal services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified solicitor, barrister, or FCILEX with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Experience in both public and private practice is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a technically diverse team.
  • Excellent advocacy and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in legal practice.
