Join our client in providing dynamic and essential services to the community. They are currently seeking a Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their Legal and Governance team. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead a team and make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable adults in Sheffield.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead and manage a diverse team of Lawyers, Professional Officers, and Assistant Professional Officers.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of legal work within the Adult Social Care sector.
- Handle the allocation, supervision, and delivery of complex, high-profile legal matters.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency within the team.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to meet service and business goals.
- Provide expert advocacy and representation at court, committees, boards, and panels.
- Collaborate with the Legal Leadership Team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective legal services.
- Qualified solicitor, barrister, or FCILEX with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Experience in both public and private practice is advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a technically diverse team.
- Excellent advocacy and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in legal practice.
