We are looking for an experienced and proactive Pastoral Manager to join a successful secondary school in Sheffield on a supply basis. About the Role

As Pastoral Manager, you will play a key role in promoting student wellbeing, safeguarding, and positive behaviour across the school. You will work closely with Heads of Year, teaching staff, and parents to ensure every student feels supported and able to thrive.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pastoral care and support for a designated year group.
  • Address behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing concerns promptly.
  • Implement strategies to maintain excellent behaviour standards.
  • Liaise with parents, external agencies, and staff to provide holistic support.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and child protection procedures.


About You

  • Previous experience in a pastoral or student support role within a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • A proactive, empathetic, and solution-focused approach.
